Free Pattern: The Spumoni Scarf

It's time for another free pattern! The Spumoni Scarf is a great pattern for a first lace project, but I think that even seasoned lace knitters will enjoy making it, too. There is only one simple row that is repeated until your scarf is your desired length!

You can download the pattern as a PDF here:

Materials: 2 skeins of Manos Silk Blend, color #3303 Spumoni
US #10/6.0mm Needles

Finished Size: 78” long by 11” wide.

Gauge: Not important

Abbreviations:
K= Knit
YO= Yarn Over
K2TOG= Knit 2 together

Pattern: LOOSELY Cast on 36 stitches.
Row 1: K1, *YO, K2TOG, Repeat from * to last stitch, K1.
Repeat row 1 until almost out of yarn (or until scarf reaches desired length), bind off loosely.

Finishing: Block to finished measurements. I soaked the scarf in warm water, removed the excess water by squeezing it in a towel, and blocked it with Blocking Wires and T-Pins. Weave in Ends.
