"Ewe-Niversity" - Success!

Hey guys, it's Kaity! I haven't posted here in a while (and I know I've been slacking on the How-To Monday videos lately, sorry!) but I thought I would write up a post to talk about how much fun we had on Saturday at our very first Ewe-Niversity!

First, I want to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you that came out and made it such a fun event. It was so great to see everyone, we hope you all had as much fun as we did!

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, the Ewe-Niversity was a day-long event featuring 27 different mini half-hour classes, a yarn tasting, delicious catered lunch from Royal Bakery, and a book signing with Wendy Bernard. If you missed out, never fear, we may be doing this again!!

At the end of the day we had so many people come up to us and tell us how much fun they had, and we were glad to hear it! I know all of the instructors (Lois, Anne, Karin, Terry, Elisa, and I) had a great time.

Lunch was so yummy, a huge thanks to Royal Bakery for doing such a great job preparing it for us!

Our Goodie Bags where a huge hit, too! Anne, Karin, and I sewed them together, Terry strung all the drawstrings, and Lois pressed them and got them printed with our adorable sheepy friend! If you want to see pictures from our "Sweatshop" sewing extravaganza, click here. We have tons of projects bvags left over, too, and you can buy them here at the shop for $8.

We had them stuffed with gifts from our awesome Sponsors: Artyarns, Bryson, Crystal Palace, Debbie Bliss, Madelinetosh, Mirasol, Manos del Uruguay, Misti Alpaca, Noro, Plymouth, Tahki, and Skacel. Some of these companies donated prizes for our raffle, which was a lot of fun, too!

Yarn tasting was fun, and the yarn bowls we had for sale sold out super fast! (Don't worry, we'll order more!)

Over all, it was a great day, if you want to see the rest of the pictures from the day, click here.

I'm so sad I missed it and got tied up at my son's track meet. At least he's going away to college next year...

Thank you for saving my goody bag. Just picked it up and there were some really fun things inside. :) See you next year.
