New Warm Weather Yarns

Hi guys! With the weather getting a little nicer outside and summer around the corner, I thought I'd share with you some of our newer yarns that I think are great for this time of year.

First, we have Misti Alpaca Pima Silk:
This yarn is soft, drapey, and a has a little bit of sheen from the silk content. I love their semi-solid colors and they have the prettiest multis, too! A lot of Ravelers have used this yarn for Clapotis Shawls, check out all the projects here on Ravelry.

Next, Katia Bombay:
This is 100% cotton, and the colors are so cute! This yarn is fantastic for baby things, I love the stripey color changes! This would be a great yarn for the Baby Surprise Jacket!

Next, Ecobutterfly Organic Pakucho Sport:
This one is 100% organic cotton, and comes in the natural colors of the cotton plant. It's soft and really pretty, and would make great baby hats, blankets, or a lightweight summer sweater.

Artyarns Cottonspring:
I love this new cotton from Artyarns, it comes in awesome colorways, including solids and multis! It is just so cheerful, I love this scarf knit out of 3 skeins!

Berroco Versa:
This cotton blend is a 2 sided ribbon yarn, the construction is really neat, and like all Berroco yarns, it's a great value for the quality! There is a cute pattern book to accompany this yarn, and Berroco has a free pattern for a vest on their website.

Last but not least, Classic Elite Firefly:
This yarn is Rayon and Linen, so it will knit up nice a drapey, and great for warmer weather. This Firefly Fringed Scarf pattern is super cute, and great to throw on over a tank top or little sundress!

What are your favorite fibers for warmer weather knitting?
