Countdown to Knitmas: Day 1!

Yep, it's that time of year again! If you've been following our blog for a while, you'll probably remember last December Anne and I posted everyday something Holiday related, tips and tricks, a free pattern or two, or Holiday gift ideas! Well, here we go again!

Today is day one! Time to stuff your advent calendars (or open up the cardboard flap and retrieve your Santa-shaped chocolate piece)! I'm going to start us off by telling you about an upcoming class! On Wednesday, December 7th, Miss Anne is teaching us how to knit super cute Christmas Ornaments to decorate our trees or to give away as little gifties!

The class will be on December 7th from 6-9pm for $30 (supplies not included). Here's Anne's description of the class for a little more info:

Ring in the holiday season with these lovely decorative balls. A style for all levels of knitters – stockinette, stripes, simple lace, and a lacy leaf motif – this festive project is a fun way to bring the art of knitting to your decorating. With a few quick stitches and some starch, plus a trick with a party balloon, we will have these lovely trinkets hanging next to your glittering twinkle lights by the time you return home. You will be welcome to experiment with working in the round on double pointed needles (dpns), one long circular for magic loop, or two circular needles at once, whichever technique sounds best to you.

If you're interested in signing up, please give us a call! The number is (805)654-9500. Have a great day everyone!!
